Preston Manning gets the Order of Canada, vindicating the few of us who (unpopularly) believe he deserves it more than Don Cherry. It's almost enough to make me not mind that Chretien's getting it at the same time.
Did you read Stephen Harper and the future of Canada?
It brought down my opinion of Manning a few notches. That said, the whole book was apparently completely wrong about Harper and his agenda for Canada, so whatever.
